The Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Programme

Established by the Hungarian Government and managed by the Tempus Public Foundation, Stipendium Hungaricum allows students from partner countries to attain a full-degree studies in Hungary. Applicants can choose from hundreds of English-taught courses across leading Hungarian universities and gain an internationally recognized qualification.

Benefits

  • No tuition fees

  • Monthly stipend

    • Bachelor/Master/Non-Degree: HUF 43,700 per month

    • Doctoral: HUF 140,000–180,000 per month

  • Accommodation support or HUF 40,000 housing contribution

  • Medical insurance

Eligibility

According to the official requirements, applicants must:

  • Be citizens of eligible partner countries

  • Be nominated by the official Sending Partner

  • Meet academic and language requirements for their chosen program

  • Not hold Hungarian citizenship
