Why Is It Difficult To Talk About Feelings?

At the beginning of any Relationship, we all feel lightheaded, dizzy with excitement, and can’t stop thinking about the other person. But the more time passes, the more reality appears.

3. Avoid Using Statements with The Pronoun “you”.

Using “you” statements can put your partner on the defensive and make them less likely to listen to what you have to say. For example, “You always cancel our plans at the last minute.” Instead of using “you” statements, try turning them into “I” statements. Be specific about what bothers you.

If there’s something specific that’s bothering you, tell your partner what it is. This will help them understand your feelings and find a way to solve the problem.

4. Avoid Using the Language Of The Blame Game.

When talking about your feelings, avoid using blame game language like “always” or “never”.
